Here, the hotels in Las Vegas are the major attractions. In this visitors enjoy a lot and their many places for their entertainment. grower shrink. You will watch fountains dance and pirates fight sexy showgirls. Las Vegas is a master piece, nothing can compete it in the world. Here hotels are not built near attractions, they themselves are true attractions for people. Las Vegas provides abundance of fun, visitors can do whatever they want, touchstones with reality are left behind. Here your day starts at noon and feast on endless amounts of rich food at late night. You can grow or shrink your money. Vegas is all fun. No cultural vacation. Leave all thoughts of historical sights behind and have fun. It wont be hard. I planned this trip at the spur of the moment in July. I'd run across a package being offered through Vacation Outlet at what I thought was a good deal.
We started our journey from Shimla to Delhi by bus at 10 pm. We reached in Delhi at 9am, we go to the guest house and got fresh and relaxed for a while had food and take a cab to airport. Ours flight time was 2pm. The time difference between Delhi and Las Vegas is 12:30 hours. The Flight took round about 16 hours. We reached at Las Vegas at 6:30 pm according to the Las Vegas time zone. We retrieved our bags and found the shuttle to the hotel, no problem.
It was a fabulous room: clean, spacious and elegant. There was a huge entertainment cabinet with 25" TV inside the cabinet, locked refrigerator with beverages, a mini-bar with M&Ms, nuts, chips, pretzels, water, Internet connection, and Bellagio brand chocolate candy. Nothing was under $4.50. There was also a desk with chair, two chairs and a table, remote-controlled drapes, the most comfortable bed I’ve had the pleasure to sleep in, two nightstands with lamps and a CD player/radio. The entry way had marble floors with a big shelved mirror on the wall. The closet had a safe and two full-length mirrors. The restroom was huge and completely done in marble with sunken tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, double sinks, makeup mirror, optional lighting, great water pressure, plenty of cabinet space and towels and a phone by the commode. Five-star elegance in a nutshell.
Next morning we plan to wander the las Vegas city, we had our breakfast and star to discover the city. We hire a cab to the strip boulevard. It is the most famous place of the city, which acts as a source of attraction. It is the section which has cluster of themed hotels, including Luxor, New York, Venerian, Paris and Bellagio. The views are worth seeing specially at night with the lights on. Then we take a cab the next spot that is Las Vegas version of Ancient Egypt.
Ancient Egypt Luxor hotel is an easy spot version from strip as it has ultimate pyramid shape, very neat building. It has a beam of light projecting from its apex, making it easy to spot from miles away even at night. Inside of hotel, the atrium has commendable size, architectural features from ancient Egypt displaying mixture of temples, statues etc. We had out lunch here and move to the next spot of the city.
We took our time walking back and browsed in The Venetian and the Grand Canal Shoppes with the beautifully painted ceilings. We exited the Venetian to a drastic change in temperature and rain. Shekhar let me use his cap and we hurried back to the hotel.
Next day morning we plan to wander the rest of places of the Las Vegas city. We had our breakfast and start our journey with a museum. The Invasion Star Trek museum, it has a very serious Star Trek time line, displays with customers and variety of devices used in series, but the real fun is the live show in which actors play the part in the crew. You'll be in danger to be assimilated by the Borg. That was the amazing site that i have visited ever. We pent some time there and move to the next spot.
We visit the spot of this city one by one. The next spot that we visited was Stratosphere Tower. It is situated away from main northern end of the strip, attractions in it is worth a special visit. It is the one of the Landmark of Las Vegas, 1149 ft tall. We get an awesome scene of the city from top of the tower. Although not comparable to Eiffel tower, this tower gives you an great feeling of how big Las Vegas is, surrounding mountains provide a great background. The roller coaster and the big shot, a free falling thing. We have a great fun here.
The next spot that was our last spot because we have to move to the next city of USA. We had our lunch and move to the spot that was Circus Circus resort located at the north end of strip, it is a family themed resort. In addition to large casino, circus acts performed every half hour for the entire day and great fun and that also free. For children there is a game room, above the casino. The resort also has an indoor amusement park under a pink room behind the main building. Best thing for family is that most rides are designed according to children. The hotel is an affordable one, with reasonably priced rooms, buffets and restaurants.
There are so many places that we visited in our trip of Las Vegas. The places that we visited in our trip are Paris - Las Vegas, Excalibur, Treasure Island Las Vegas, Fremont Street Experience etc. These are also the awesome spot of the Las Vegas. We clicked so many pics during our this trip. At last we back to the hotel packing our luggage to catch our early morning flight. We hired a cab in the morning, for airport, it was a half an hour drive. With this we ended up our trip at the Las Vegas. All in all, it was a lovely way to end our stay in this "international" city The Las Vegas.
